Built in 1999, Globe House is the international headquarters of British American Tobacco. This imposing artificial stone clad, steel framed building dominates this stretch of the Victoria Embankment, which overlooks the River Thames.
Triton negotiated the contract to undertake the first programme of external maintenance to the building and the structure was found to be in good condition. Once the method of tying the scaffold to the structure had been established, the Stonehealth DOFF system was selected to clean the building.
With only minimal repairs to undertake to the masonry and roof, all work was easily completed within the 24 week programme.
