CONSULTANCY & SURVEYS

We provide a range of specialist surveys designed to support projects from initial planning through to completion.

Whether a building requires a drone survey to access inaccessible areas or a cherry picker for a closer inspection of the fabric, our team is equipped to provide bespoke recommendations and solutions to match individual needs.

Our current specialist survey offerings include drone, cherry picker, thermographic, radar, and rope access surveys. Once a survey is complete, we provide a thorough report detailing our findings. This includes recommendations for repairs, as well as insights into potential risks that may develop into concerns in the future.

In addition to specialist surveys, we also offer repair schedules, marked-up elevation drawings and photographs, and masonry and joinery reports.

FAÇADE CLEANING

Over time, façades can deteriorate due to environmental factors such as carbon deposits, weather erosion, or general wear and tear. To restore the buildings fabric we use specialised cleaning techniques like DOFF, JOS, or TORC, all of which having varying levels of abrasivity. Before any cleaning process is initiated, it is important to determine the desired outcome and conduct trials to ensure the best result. By effectively maintaining and restoring façades, their aesthetic and longevity can be preserved for years to come.

EXTERNAL CONDITION SURVEY

External condition surveys provide a clear assessment of a building’s façade and external fabric, identifying defects, deterioration, and maintenance requirements before they develop into larger issues.

Surveys can include inspections to masonry, render, roofs, rainwater goods, windows, balconies, and associated external elements. Our contractor led approach allows defects to be assessed practically, with buildable repair solutions and budget considerations provided where required. Reports are tailored to support asset management, planned maintenance, and repair prioritisation.

Roofing condition surveys assess the overall condition and performance of roof coverings, flashings, drainage systems, and associated details. Early identification of defects such as water ingress, failed waterproofing, movement, or deterioration helps prevent costly long term damage to the wider structure. Surveys can be undertaken across pitched, flat, and heritage roofing systems, with clear recommendations provided for repair, maintenance, or replacement works.

LEAK DETECTION & WATER INGRESS INVESTIGATION

Water ingress investigations identify the source and cause of internal leaks, moisture penetration, and external envelope failures. Defects can often originate from concealed or complex areas, requiring a systematic approach to accurately diagnose the issue. Surveys may include inspection of roofs, façades, joints, rainwater goods, and drainage systems, with clear recommendations provided to prevent ongoing deterioration and internal damage.

DRONE SURVEY & AERIAL INSPECTION

Drone surveys provide safe and efficient access to difficult or high level areas where traditional inspection methods may be restricted or costly. High resolution aerial imagery allows detailed assessment of façades, roofs, parapets, and other inaccessible elements without major disruption to occupied buildings. This approach supports faster inspections, early defect identification, and improved planning of maintenance or repair works.
