Triton were awarded by the London Borough of Richmond and Kaner Olette Architects to undertake the restoration works to this unique monument that had experienced extensive dilapidation and disrepair.
In an effort to restore Kilmorey Mausoleum, Triton performed the stabilisation and repair of the dwarf wall, removal of all cementation render, reinstatement of two bays of railings, repair and reinstatement of gates, and specialist masonry cleaning to granite surfaces, in accordance with good practice and Historic England recommendations.
We worked collaboratively with Kaner Olette Architects to produce a design the for York Stone Herringbone footpath, and duly re-instated following the approval from Historic England.
