Triton carried out a major programme of external restoration works to the Royal Memorial Chapel at Sandhurst Military Academy. The project focused on the conservation and reinstatement of the building’s distinctive terracotta architectural features, including pediments, cornices and corbel brackets.
Extensive cleaning and repair works were undertaken to address deterioration caused by weathering and failed mortar joints. Defective terracotta units were carefully replaced with specially manufactured matching components, while damaged brickwork and masonry elements were repaired and restored.
The project also involved the dismantling and reconstruction of architectural features, ensuring the chapel’s historic character was preserved while enhancing its long term durability and performance.
