Built in 1892 and designed by Walter Emden, The Duke of York’s Theatre was one of the first three theatres to be opened on St Martin’s Lane.

Works included external masonry repairs to match original decoration to external timber windows, decoration to the front elevation iron window railings, retractable window awnings, main entrance doors and front entrance steps, cast iron rainwater goods, and flat roof repairs. Triton also undertook a combination of DOFF, TORC & JOSS cleaning to bring the building back to it’s original splendour. Associated rainwater pipes and fixings were restored and replaced to match the existing.
