Located on Grosvenor Estate in the heart of Mayfair, 1 Balfour Place is an impressive six-story, double-fronted family home with a basement. Constructed in 1893 by Eustace Balfour, the property’s exterior is adorned with red Suffolk brick, brown Portland stone dressings, and black wrought-iron railings.
In 2022, Triton were appointed to undertake a 16-week refurbishment project at Balfour Place. The works focused on the external refurbishment and replacement of the flat roof covering. Alongside this, our team refurbished the Portland stonework on all elevations, cleaned and repointed all masonry, replaced, refurbished and redecorated windows and doors, installed a high-performance waterproofing system to the flat roof, and installed a new aluminium deck onto the roof terrace.
