Established between the years of 1876 – 1878, this 5 storey building was designed by Robert Stark Wilkinson. Dressed in terracotta, the building is well-known for its narrow build.
In an effort to preserve and restore the architectural grandeur of Southbank House, Triton were contracted to lead the project. Our role was pivotal in ensuring the building’s exterior was restored. With a deep understanding of the significance of terracotta in the buildings design and historical context, Triton undertook the challenge of implementing terracotta elements with precision, whilst remaining true to the original vision.
The restoration process extended beyond terracotta installation, including brick repairs and meticulous cleaning of the front façade. Triton’s commitment to quality and authenticity ensured that the restoration was completed not only on time but also within the allocated budget.
