Harrods is one of London’s most iconic department stores, founded in 1849 by Charles Henry Harrod and located in the heart of Knightsbridge. The Grade II* listed building is recognised worldwide for its distinctive terracotta façade, historic character and prestigious retail environment.

Triton was commissioned by Harrods to undertake essential restoration works to the building fabric, including structural repairs to the roof steelwork, glazed brick replacement, joinery repairs, liquid waterproof coatings, render repairs and external decoration using terracotta coloured KEIM mineral paint to match the existing façade.

The works were delivered within a fully operational luxury retail environment, requiring careful planning, night works and close coordination with Harrods’ store development, engineering, fire, health and safety, security and IT teams. The project also included a significant mechanical and electrical package, with new distribution boards and Building Management System upgrades installed while maintaining safety, programme and minimal disruption to staff and customers.
