Triton were appointed to carry out masonry conservation and lead roofing works at the UCL Slade School of Fine Art, part of the Grade I Listed Wilkins Building at University College London.
The works comprised Portland stone cleaning and conservation repairs to the main elevation, including localised stone repairs, repointing, brickwork and render repairs, alongside chimney and coping stone works. Lead roofing works were also undertaken, including the repair and replacement of lead coverings, flashings, gutters and associated timber elements.
The project was delivered within a live, occupied university environment, requiring careful coordination throughout to maintain building use while preserving its historic fabric.
