Triton were appointed as Principal Contractor by Daniel Watney LLP to undertake the external repairs and redecoration of New River Head.

Constructed in 1920 to a design by architect Herbert Austen Hall, New River Head is a Grade II* listed building located in the heart of Islington. Built in red brick with a slate roof, the building is a large irregular parallelogram in French classical style.

The works consisted of roofing, leadwork, masonry, external decorations, and renewal and replacement of the timber decking. Re-render and redecoration works were carried out to the internal common parts, with mortar and re-pointing undertaken to the entrance steps alongside the installation of spiked pigeon protection.
