As a specialist external refurbishment contractor, Triton provide all trades and materials required to restore a building back to good condition. We advise the client on the matching, sourcing, availability and lead in time to the production of purpose made items at the pre-contract stage, so that delays to the contract and costs are minimised.
The principal areas of Triton’s expertise are as follows:
Triton restore a wide variety of traditional buildings that are constructed using stone, terracotta, faience, brick, stucco and concrete. Using only experienced personnel and carefully selected materials that satisfy a specification “to match the existing”, Triton will carefully reproduce structural elements and architectural details, including tuck-pointing and other finely tooled finishes.
Triton supply and fix a wide variety of natural stones, in addition to terracotta, brick and artificial stone, for major restoration, new build, urban landscaping and paving projects. Our craftsmen will produce moulded or carved stonework to specification and our specialist terracotta and brick suppliers will reproduce any architectural detail.
Triton will clean a wide variety of structures using techniques and materials that comply with current Health and Safety legislation and which conform to BS 8221-1:2000, The Code of Practice for Cleaning and Surface Repair of Buildings. These include the following:
- Masons Water Clean
- Mild Chemical Cleaning
- Specialist Poulticing
- JOS, DOFF and TORC systems
- Air Abrasives
We recommend that on site sampling works should be undertaken at an early stage so that the nature and condition of the substrate may be fully assessed and the most appropriate cleaning method determined.
As main contractor, Triton will undertake works to the entire external fabric of the building. These include the repair and replacement of the roof coverings, joinery, windows, rainwater goods and associated decorative and structural elements, including redecoration in accordance with our Dulux Trade Partnership Agreement.
For these projects, Triton will employ full time Site Managers to closely co-ordinate a wide variety of specialist, general building and ancillary trades, to ensure that the contract progresses smoothly and disruptions to the residential and commercial leaseholders are kept to a bare minimum.
