The Dominion Theatre
London W1

This Grade II Listed building, dated 1928-1929, is of a steel framed construction clad with a curved Portland stone façade.

The first of two phases of external refurbishment work undertaken by Triton focussed on the rear elevations.

Following cleaning of the brick and artificial stone façade, repairs were undertaken to the steel frame, using substantial quantities of artificial stone.

All of the original Crittall windows were replaced and the asphalt flat roof was renewed. Cast iron rainwater goods were thoroughly overhauled and redecorated.

The next phase of work to the front elevation will comprise the cleaning of the Portland stone, reconstruction of the curved façade, treatment of the rusting steel frame and the removal and refurbishment of the ornate metal grilles.
