The primary concern of the Estate Manager of this prestigious mansion block was to ensure that the contractor could provide both a high level of service to very discerning clients and the best quality workmanship.
With several reference projects of a similar nature inspected and approved, the client appointed Triton to undertake the external refurbishment of the first of twenty four blocks as part of a 5 year rolling programme. Having completed this first contract to the complete satisfaction of the Estate Manager and the residents, Triton have successfully tendered for the next two phases of this major project.
Commencing with the water cleaning of the elevations, Triton applied their specialist restoration skills to the repair of the defective Bath stone cornice, string course and dressings and to the in-situ reconstruction of the York stone balconies, which had all failed due to the absence of a capillary drip.
The standard of redecoration was considered to be a very important aspect of the project and, closely supervised by the on site Property Manager, 100% of the paintwork was burnt off. New double hung sliding sash windows and matching hardwood entrance and balcony doors were provided and all timber surfaces painted with the Dulux Weathershield System.
