Golden Cross House
The Strand, London, WC2

Triton were appointed by Jones Lang LaSalle for the £350,000 external refurbishment of this prominent commercial building located on the Trafalgar end of the Strand.

The works involved cleaning of the stonework and glazed brick lightwell with various cleaning techniques, natural stone replacement, leadwork, roofing and the redecoration of previously painted surfaces.

The building and ground floor units remained in occupation during our works. We maintained continuous liaison with the Building Manager, Local Authority and Transport for London to achieve a streamlined logistics schedule for scaffolding and stonework.

The main scope of this maintenance programme was the stone replacement, on site carving and localised rusting steel frame treatment.

The work was completed on schedule and on budget to the satisfaction of the surveyor.
